Charles Dabrowski founded Palatine Hill in February of 2017 after many years as a Private Wealth Advisor. As Founder, Charles acts as a trusted advisor for high net-worth families, assisting them in all matters pertaining to their personal and professional financial life goals.
Charles grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and lives in downtown Detroit. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 2004 and a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School in 2008. After graduating from law school he earned a Masters of Law in Taxation from the Chicago Kent College of Law in 2009; in the depths of the financial crises. The crises made an indelible impression on him, as it did for most families in America, and it highlighted the paramount importance of prudent financial planning and investment management. As a result, Charles decided to move back to the Detroit area and worked for a large wealth management firm in the area until he launched Palatine Hill in 2017.
In his spare time, Charles plays squash and bowls at the Detroit Athletic Club where he served on the club’s Finance Committee and the Intermediate Board President. He also helped found Leaders for Kids which is a charity that has raised over $800,000 to children in need.
Charles enjoys golf, traveling the world, and meeting new and interesting people. He has family in Germany, has traveled extensively throughout Europe, and is bilingual in German and English. He is engaged to his fiancé, Hillary, and lives with her and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Augustus, in downtown Detroit.
